It depends on the individual. Some people appreciate the advice because they've never had to think about it before and it's useful to get need-to-know information at the right time. Others might get irritated.

He should talk to funeral directors and get those guys to pass his cards out with good recommendations, pretend they get a discount by mentioning the funeral parlor, and give the director a kick back for each client.
