Yes but are they all aware of their freedom to do so, or do they self-impose a limit?

Some are quite within their senses

You can be in your senses but also limiting your true behavior

You'll have to excuse OP, they've obviously never been inside a nursing home.

I have been in several nursing homes from all the way back when I was a wee lad. The first time, I had a blackout and the second time I got in trouble for making a joke about the graveyard that was next door to the home.
Anonymous E replied with this 6 years ago , 3 minutes later, 20 hours after the original post[^] [v] #1,010,720 @previous (A)
Then you should be aware that some of the people in nursing homes are way off their rockers.

One day someone will build a nursing home with each bed right next to a gravesite. Each grave will be on elevator, that descends and makes room for next client.

What kind of idiot would think I was claiming that some people are not?

So if you know that, you should also know that some are quite rowdy, and met with little more than a "sit down" for acting out.
Anonymous A (OP) replied with this 6 years ago , 1 minute later, 21 hours after the original post[^] [v] #1,010,726 @previous (E)
Thankfully I'm not a fool who might think that this wasn't the case.

So, do you honestly believe people like this a restraining their actions, when the worst thing that could possobly happen would be getting moved to another nursing home? Or maybe a psych ward if they are particularly violent.
Anonymous A (OP) replied with this 6 years ago , 25 minutes later, 21 hours after the original post[^] [v] #1,010,735 @previous (E)
I'm asking about most residents, not just residents with outburst tendencies.

We definitely don't. They have outlawed real restraints and chemical restraints in retirement homes

I'm just talking about residents in general.
