Yes indeed guilty as charged - Was at least 40 b4 I tried pot. Waz ok nothing really special - Homegrown by a workmate who took pride in his ownership of Your British Lotus Elite. Three of them because he said it took Three to keep one running. Never really got into Pot - Maybe 12-15 times over these many years. Last time it got in the way with me getting it UP and I said NO WAY NO How will I do that again. Did one time more, with a gal who was not about to let me get in her pants so I figured why not -
Coke - Maybe 3 times or 4 - First time was on a mountain climb with a Doctor and his daughter - He offered me some by a campfire at night when daughter when to sleep. I said no way re I have often experienced Nasal issues and too many friends into Coke had major nose problems - He said he could turn it into a quick version of Crack and not effect my nose and that experience was by fireside just TERRIFIC - Alas the other tries were of NO Consequence via Nose - I felt Caffeine from my Espresso was just as good so my guess is that Coke and my Brain is just not a big deal - Have not tried in couple3 decades.
Magic Mushrooms just Once at Hedonism II in Jamaica on a trip with Girlfriend. Now that was SOMETHING Really Memorable - and even though I planned on doing it again We never did nor have I found the tyme for the repeat but it's possible one day.
I think because I with so much Dancing and Exercise with the mass of natural Endorphins I get so much Natural Highs - In fact so much I could almost rite a book about the times I have been stopped by cops from doing something really really STUPID as a result of Endorphins. Passing Cops so many times or Jump starts from Red Lite with Cop right next to me for instance MORE than Once -
I am still open to Pot but with my Endorphins I just see no need - Perhaps one day when I cannot exercise to point I get the Natural I can then turn to the Weed?

I tried to be very accurate in my list. I sure no lots of people that tried LSD. Had a Sister in law who's husband planned on making the Guinness book of records for LSD intake. Sis in law dumped him quickly.
Around my Surf community Pot is ultra popular. People grow their own somewhat legally - Law limits what one can grow buttttt seems the stuff is everywhere these days in yards in small plots.
I once attended a wedding and the bride a girl I new from back when she was 11 - Bosses daughter brought her in for Dad take daughters to work day - I put he to work sorting out used resistors just to keep her busy. She hated me for that I thought - So on her wedding day she takes me out to her car and opens trunk and brings out a BAG 11 pounds of Pot she and new hubby grew in back yard. I at time hand not even tried the stuff. So I said er NO Thanks - No clue why she thought I was a user. No clue she even thought about me after her one day of work with me.
In fact a truly wonderful high school friend I had a crush on but never got anywhere beyond friendship - Her sister did exactly the same thing but with many more pounds in bags and I said no thanks
For sure that one time I could not get it UP with a relatively new GF - That stuff was OVERPOWERING.
Now off to a meeting where they tell me I will enjoy a Demo of a Q customer demo of Beta product so guess is a new Visor and new program for. Could be a Trippy experience cause the last one made me wayyyy to disy and betting the AI company they acquired has added AI to program to cut down on the Disy factor

The Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5) was written by a highly educated Greek scholar who based it off the Septuagint version of Deuteronomy & Leviticus (The bit you quoted is paraphrased from Leviticus 19:18). It was almost certainly written as a reaction to the destruction of the temple at Jerusalem by the Romans in 70 AD, and was a message to the people about how to cope with the Roman occupation of Palestine.
I think I can quite safely say that neither the authors of Matthew nor Leviticus could possibly have imagined a world in which a bizarre entity such as TGMerrinComix existed, nor dare I say would they have agreed that their words could be applied to it!

If you study the original Greek text in depth you might change your mind. Its construction (as well as the entire gospel) is pure genius, and it is unarguable that it can only have been created by somebody who had studied Greek literature to an extremely advanced level. For example (and this is just the tip of the iceberg) the thematic material of the book is one big chiasmus, the focal point of which is Peter's denial. There are twelve main themes either side of this pivotal "Don't Deny Christ" theme which are parallel to each other. The number 12 pops up all over the place too (12 tribes of Israel, 12 apostles, 12 gates of Jerusalem, etc). Nothing about these literary techniques is random - everything was deliberately and carefully constructed to appeal to our pattern hungry brains.
