@OP
Is Italian food well seasoned? Some of Minichan's culinary experts have recently denounced all "white people food" as bland, but I think the Italians of all whites could prove them wrong.

But Hitler allied with the Italians? I think that, with his PhD in whiteness, Hitler would have been qualified to judge.
He also declared the Japanese to be honorary whites, actually, which I don't think has ever been cancelled so it's still in effect. Therefore, Japanese food can also be used to defend white food from these accusations.

Mussolini was not big on the racial purity thing incidentally (though he made a half-assed attempt at it to appease Hitler). I think it would be wrong to say Fascism is necessarily a racial ideology. It seems more like civil nationalism.
Race seems to be more like a spectrum. We can argue at what exact wavelength "blue" light becomes "green" light, but it's pretty obvious that both are different from red. So you can end up with lots of edge cases where you could plausibly argue either way on status as "whites". Are really dusky Southern Italians white? Are really pale North Africans? Arabs?
Look at Bashar Assad. He looks pretty damn white! Pale skin, blue eyes. If I didn't know who he was (or his nationality), I would categorize him as "white" without a thought. Knowing he's Bashar Assad from Syria, I would hesitate a bit (because Syria is definitely not in Europe) but still say white.

No, I don't put much stock in race either. I find it useful as a physical descriptor of an individual, but not much else. And even that, as you point out, isn't always exact.
It's intersting how we have stereotyped views of what kther nationalities should look like. I've read that Mexico and Pakistan also have citizens who look "white", like Assad does. But because we have such stereotypical views of those countries as being brown-skinned, some of us westerners are surprised when we see people like that. I also have an Argentinian friend who just looks like a regular white dude. If I didn't know he was from there, I would probably assume he was from a western country.
But we don't do the same for ourselves. If you were to see a black American guy, or I were to see a black Brit, we wouldn't think it was anything strange. But I guess that's just a side-effect of a mundane lack of knowledge of other countries.

So... you're telling me, it wasn't about racial purity, and Hitler just liked good food? I'd take some sushi or pizza over matzo balls any day.

Wow. He looks like could running for office in Kentucky somewhere. I bet he could get elected too if he had an R after his name. That would be a fun joke.
