100% for sure - I often in a hurry will do the take out section - Guessing your not Meowth who I keep missing when he drops on in - So like what general area do you live in.
So many terrific places around Clairemont Mesa and Convoy and for sure I have tried only a fraction of them. 99 Ranch and the Zion Korean market and the Japanese Nijiya Market are my go to places.
At the opposite end of Mira Mesa Bvd (Opposite from Qualcomm Campus, there are a couple of my go2 places for fresh seafood albeit I still favor 99 Ranch tanks with live stuff

Photo is what CNN - Fox and other news channels are currently shouting about - $150,000,000 per each one which are made just South of Me. Now believe me San Diego area in general was NEVER on my mind and a place 2 move to - Was a place I often used for weekend vacations however - Very Often - So much fun stuff to do but wood NOT vacation here for say 2Weeks at one time
Alas Qualcomm paid all expenses and MORE Much more to get me here and for sure after traveling the world on other peoples money and after being so many places THIS IS where I plan to die.
That said There are lots of Cuisine that must be cooked at home cause Asian and Mexican are Popular for going out for but compared to Los Angeles and San Francisco are the cities for joy of going out for diversity
Lots of Great Arab food out Meowth's way but logistics make that difficult for those on the coast.

My girlfriend lives in Claremont near the Mesa Community College. It’s a great central location not too far from Convoy, downtown, North Park, PB etc.
I like going to all the boba places around there.

Ah ok - I keep my eyes on reviews in the Reader for the latest and greatest Asian place in Clairemont Mesa. Reminds me it's time to hit one of my two Fav Korean hot pot Tofu places.
Boba hummmmm with the new laws re Plastic everything in fast food how are they going to continue because those tapioca balls need that extra wide plastic straw. I still rather have my Tapioca in pudding which these days is rare unless I pick some up at Trader Joes.

The paper straws are awful, add cardboard aftertaste to everything and then they start to crumple up and dissolve at the point where the straw comes out of the lid. Every boba place I have been does not use paper straws same with fast food

Couple of weeks ago I got some fast food something - In cardboard. Got it home and the food had cardboard dissolved at the bottom. They will learn to put some kind of separator or even wax paper between the food and cardboard. Need to remember which place that was so I don't go back for a while until they get smart.
