Done by some university, it shows that, on a stationary bike, people who did two minutes of normal riding, 20 seconds of sprint, then two minutes of normal riding, then repeated it twice, for a total exercise regime of only 9 minutes, had the exact same benefits as the other group that exercised heavily for an entire hour every day. I started doing it and I feel great!

I can believe this, honestly. I felt better running on a treadmill in short bursts like that, than when I tried for ~45 minute bouts of intense running.

Indeed, and it produces the very same health effects.

To maintain weight and/or avoid regaining weight, you need about 150-250 minutes (20-35 minutes daily) or try burning 1200 to 2000 kcal a week. For weight loss, your workout time climbs to 200-300 minutes each week of a mix of moderate and high-intensity exercise.

https://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/fitness/expert-answers/aerobic-exercise/faq-20058561

Longer, less frequent sessions of aerobic exercise have no clear advantage over shorter, more frequent sessions of activity. Any type of aerobic activity contributes to cardiovascular fitness. In fact, even divided "doses" of activity — such as a few five-minute walks spread throughout the day — offer aerobic benefits, and accumulated activity throughout the day adds up to provide health benefits. Any activity is better than none at all. What's most important is making regular physical activity part of your lifestyle.

For most healthy adults, the Department of Health and Human Services recommends:

At least 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity or 75 minutes of vigorous aerobic activity a week, or a combination of moderate and vigorous activity. The guidelines suggest that you spread this exercise throughout the week. Moderate aerobic activity may include activities such as brisk walking or swimming, while vigorous aerobic activity may include activities such as running.
Strength training exercises for all major muscle groups at least two times a week.
As a general goal, aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate physical activity every day. If you want to lose weight, maintain weight loss, gain more health and fitness benefits, or meet specific fitness goals, work to increase your activity even more. For example, you can aim for 300 minutes of moderate physical activity a week, or about 60 minutes or more of moderate physical activity five days during the week.

Please cite the Uni study for us. Also Congrats on your exercise effort.

I do my routine for multiple reasons. To get Cholestrol HDL LDL ideal. Blood pressure and low blood sugar. AND AND to burn calories so I can indulge in more delish food.
I am 1000% my routine works based on Docs numbers. None of what I do may extend my life except studies show it will and will keep me from those typical brain issues.

Bottom line is to feel GREAT - What you are doing makes you feel more better. That is a great reason to keep it up. My routine has a fringe benefit Endorphins. Love just LOVE that high every time. Have been in dangerous situations as a result when swimming for extended periods and Skiing danger danger towards end of day.

Seriously be level with us. Do you really, truly run 10 miles a day? That would rival the training routines of the world’s top athletes.

Yeah, that inspires confidence.
