I have only once. I remember going with my father and brothers to a fair. There were several displays set up, people selling things, or advertising organizations. There was a display set up by a Jewish man. He was promoting Israel and Judaism essentially. I remember my father asking him about Jewish temples and other things. The man seemed cold, emotionless, very uncaring, not even enthusiastic about his own beliefs. It was as if he just wanted to shoo us away and he gave my father very uneducated answers to his questions.
This was before I had my awakening and became a National Socialist. I was around seventeen, or eighteen, yet even then I had a natural aversion towards that man. It wasn't just him wanting to get rid of us, I wanted to get away from him just as badly, if not more. I was disappointed that my father seemed to care so much about Judaism and didn't seem curious about his own people. Fortunately since then I've been able to have discussions about European history with him and I hope that I've been able to instill some semblance of pride. I am curious about your experiences!
