Big Oil Lobbying for a Carbon Tax- The Green of Money
Big Oil has NEVER been opposed to the carbon control agenda
I will repeat this statement of fact... Big Oil has NEVER been opposed to the carbon control agenda. They were always going to profit from the agenda through higher energy prices. Getting more for less. Therefore they were not in opposition
Covered this in 2015- 4 years ago
• Beware of carbon tax ‘love fest’- Big Oil and the UN partner up- Be careful what you wish for...
• Europes Top Oil Producers Call for Carbon Pricing- Completely Unsurprising
• Big Oil: Bring on the Carbon Tax- Poseurs Pembina & Desmog blog

• Where the Anthropogenic Global Warming Cult meets the Military Industrial Complex
As was stated way back:
"The oil companies have NOT had an epiphany of any sort. This is a sales PR campaign. We're all supposed to sing Kumbaya now with big oil because they have seen the light. That's not what happened! Big Oil always saw the light on the Carbon agenda. They saw the money light. The cash called them. Your cash. Your money. The big oil vacuum is getting ready to suck up your money, your choice and your freedoms- With their partners in crime, of course!

I understand why poverty increases certain crimes, but not why it increases other crimes

By 5% in the example of rape. And you should also bear in mind these are statistics about arrests, which obviously doesn't cover nearly all crime. You can't conclude (with certainty) from this source that black people commit more crime, just that they get arrested more.

I'm looking at it and black people commit 29% of rape for 12% of population.
Also if the stats don't count for anything, why even discuss it?

Oh yeah I calculated that wrong in my head because I forgot they have people who arent white or black in America! I don't know why they are overrepresented there. There's probably been research into it.
> Also if the stats don't count for anything, why even discuss it?
dude why do you always think I am implying things when I am not. I'm stating facts. I never said the statistics "don't count for anything". Do you not know what bear in mind means?

Sorry for assuming anything. It just makes things hard to discuss when the stars aren't seen as being accurate

Where did I say anything about the statistics is inaccurate?? I said they were arrest stats, not stats of all criminal activity because those obviously dont exist.
To draw the conclusions you're drawing you would have to make the assumption that arrests are 100% representative of total crime committed. I don't know if there are any decent estimations of unsolved/unknown criminal activity, but I feel like it would be a pretty significant number

Inaccuracies besides the ones they have in their footnotes.

and i thought you already agreed that crime for monetary gain stems from poverty, not what colour your skin is

I don't think that murder can necessarily be covered by poverty and most of the people raped by black guys are black women

you think it's more likely to be an inherent effect of having dark skin colour? > and most of the people raped by black guys are black women
i dont see what that has to do with anything

Because you said that a lot of the black rape arrests come from white women lying about being raped by black guys, which is a bizarre statement in my opinion.
I do not know the reason for the arrest disparity
