Human gender refers to chromosomes

The concept of gender predates knowledge of chromosomes. Also, which chromosomes in a table or bookshelf define it's gender?

People can have extra sex chromosomes, so that method doesn't really provide a 1:1 mapping. It's probably just easier to ask someone than it is to test their chromosomes.

Been just a few years out of school. I do not believe a table or bookshelf has chromosomes.

Actually, gemder is determined by hormones. Medical scientists aren't 100% sure, but their best explanation for transgenderism is over exposure to certain hormones en utero. This explanation also gives reason to why there is markedly more cases of MtF transgenderism than there is FtM. Every vertibrate embryo is inherently female, and require exposure to a certain hormone at the right developmental stage to become male. Thus most female embryos are never exposed to the male hormones, where as all male embryos are exposed to the female hormones. Please do some research before posting in the future. Thanks.

Sounds like your research is flawed. Tranny

Why does transgenderism upset you so? Is there something you need to share with us?

Cutting off your dick and taking lady pills to stop growing a beard doesn't make a male a female. Normal people know this.

Who gives a fuck? You can transgend without going full blown transsexual.
God says you can’t cut off your dick but absolutely nothing about injecting hormones!

Just a reminder: this is a topic about how the majority of languages on earth give inanimate objects like a god damned table or a salad fork a specific gender even though a table doesn’t have chromosomes or genitals.

Who gives a shit. At least you can communicate. Stop making everything about trannies. God

I choose to communicate using a (slightly) sane language that doesn’t force people to gender literally everything. Does a carpet or a telephone pole need to be gendered?
Maybe I’m not making enough things about trannies!
Jesus Christ, has the world gone mad?!

No you can't. Hormone replacement is an absolutely essential part of becoming a tranny.

I don't think it's a majority. According to Wikipedia, approximately a quarter of languages use a grammatical gender. That's still a lot, though!
But yes, it seems strange to us. However, some aspects of English seem strange to many other languages too.
