I'm representing some defendants in a lawsuit that we believe is frivolous. I'd been considering doing depositions and written discovery, including engaging a computer forensics expert, to disprove the plaintiff's claims. However, thanks to you, I've just become aware of the fact that you can ask the judge for an initial hearing or two in order to get the judge to just laugh the case out of court.
Obviously this would be much cheaper and faster, and I'd be a very sought after attorney if I could just get cases thrown out of court this way. My problem is that I can't figure out how to get this hearing. I'm not seeing it in the rules of civil procedure. Do I file a "Motion for an Initial Hearing or Two"? Do I want one hearing or two or does the judge decide this? (Is the second hearing just because they were laughing too hard at the first one, and couldn't finish it?) Should I be bringing jokes with me to the hearing?

Basically what you do is donate large sums of money to the judge's re-election campaign, preferably supplemented by undisclosed wads of $100 bills in envelopes delivered to his chambers, and then help get his son a job he's unqualified for. The case should sort itself out, thanks.

How about you remove yourself from the case and ask for a meeting with the judge. You state your case about frivolous and let the judge decide.
