I still don't get the whole Republican v Democrat 'switch', or whatever you want to call it. I tried to read about it once, but I find US political history about as enthralling as seppos find the British counterpart. The Democratic Republican Party, the National Republican Party, the Democratic Party, the Republican Party, and then National Unionist Party (?) and a bunch of others. Please name your parties better. Thanks.
