So I was browsing Newegg and noticed that every single 1155 socket CPU and motherboard was GONE. I was like "WTF is going on? I was just look at those a few days ago." Then I find this article:

Bad news for Intel. They're estimating this is gonna cost them about 300 million dollars.

AMD always did have better quality control. Intel should stick to design and outsource production. My 2 cents.

Yeah, this is true. First it was the 1366 socket, and then they came out with the 1156 socket just for the lower end ones, then they came out with 1155 just for the new Sandy Bridge chips, and they have a new 1157 socket just for servers. It's all fucking bullshit. I'm sticking with AMD simply because I know I can buy an AM3 board and I know it will last me a while. If I buy Intel I'm lucky if there are any good CPU's available for the board a year later.
