So why does it seem like 90% of humanity are trannies these days, when in reality, maybe 0.0001% of the population is? All you see on TV and Facebook are stories about trannies. Hell, even this morning when I stopped in Starbucks -- I kid you not -- I was served by a man wearing make up and acting like a woman. What gives?

99% of people are not trans. The story "person obeys gender norms" isn't newsworthy. "Person breaks gender norms" is transgressive and attention-grabbing.
If you live in a town of 30,000 people, 300 will be trans. Odds are you will bump into one eventually and that event will stick in your mind because it's so different, even though you saw 299 other people who weren't trans.
Also everyone on minichan is trans and the ones who aren't can't help but post about it constantly so you're always thinking about it while here.
