I only type at like 70wpm at max. I do a weird combination of proper typing and hunt n peck typing most of the time, tho. Where I look like I'm hunting and pecking(just typing using index finger), but I know where every key is so I do it really fast compared to actual hunt n peck typing. I can type proper, but hate how it feels so don't.

My problem with "typing tests" is that they are actually transcription tests. They are testing how fast you can copy something not how fast you type.

@previous (Ben Johnson ?)
There is a lot of friction created by the transcription process that would not be there when freewriting. I can type words from my mind a lot faster than specific words from a different source.
