The article you have linked to says that Pope Francis has made the reporting of all knowledge of child sex abuse obligatory.
And from reading this article (which I'm presuming you must, since you yourself posted it) your understanding of it was...
> I am really becoming convinced that the pope is a child molester and uses nuns as sex slaves.
And so...
You will recall that your math teachers at school used to ask you to show your working out in order to walk you through where you went wrong. In that spirit - would you kindly show us your working out, my child.

Indeed there does seem to be an unfortunate dearth of critical thinkers able to hold their own in a debate with me. Like our OP here, who reads an article, agrees with it, and then somehow manages to form the opposition conclusion to it.
Bless you my ingenuine and incognito friend!

Leaving aside your 'pedo' fixation, 'catholicism' is not a 'hobby'. And as for 'dadrock', can you explain what that word means?

Let us also take a moment to note that OP has fallen suspiciously silent since it was pointed out to him that the article he posted didn't say what he thought it said.

@previous (Father Merrin !u5oFWxmY7U) > But the requirement will not apply to secrets revealed to priests in the confessional.
So you can still molest children, confess to your crime to the priest and still get away with it.
And so sorry for becoming silent. Unlike you, I have a life outside of this shit site.

Nope. That's your 2nd baffled conclusion in 2 posts. Well done.
And if you'll allow me to improve you as a reader and a critical thinker, cherry picking isolated lines and cutting off all the surrounding context is why you keep on misunderstanding what you're reading.

Lashing out at this fine website is not a healty way to release your frustration at being a confused reader. Calm yourself my child.

Rock for dads

An acquaintance of mine is 18 years old and just became a father. He is very fond of a new rock band who released their first EP last month. That's "dadrock"??
I have another question: can "dadrock" be listened to by people who do not have children, or is it exclusively for fathers?

One of my congregation is a middle-aged father who is very fond of a new up-and-coming American rock band who formed a few months ago. That's "dadrock"??
> Yes it can!
Then why is it called "dadrock" and not simply "rock"?

">to report it to their superiors"
">to report it to their superiors"

Not to law enforcement. Never to law enforcement. So a priest that has just raped a child, tells a superior in confession about the rape and that superior is not allowed to share the confession to anyone else.
Total cover up.Pope Francis is just one more Pedophilia enabling Popes

Did you know that if you repeat the same thing 3 times, it becomes more real?
> Not to law enforcement. Never to law enforcement.
The Vatican is a nation state. It handles its own affairs, and for the same reason the USA (for example) does not extradite its citizens to foreign countries for prosecution.
> So a priest that has just raped a child, tells a superior in confession about the rape and that superior is not allowed to share the confession to anyone else.
We Catholics believe that confession is direct communication with God. It is nowhere near as simple as you seem to think it is. It's is not a 'shower for the soul'. Think of it this way - why would a priest even bother to confess at all, if the process means so little to him? If you had a sickness that was eating away at you and you wanted to be cured of it, would you be more likely to discuss it with someone if you knew it would lead to your imprisonment minutes later?
