Don't feel sad. I made the "five days without drinking" thread when I was still a bit unsure of myself. That's why I did it as anon. After a week I knew this was the right thing for me.

It was the hardest thing I've ever done in my life but it was completely worth it to get my freedom back. You have no idea how good it feels not to be chained to the bottle. I'm ready for another year!

I don't think I could. I have a 10 year history of problem drinking. Drinking seems to be a one way thing for some people. Though why would I even want to drink in moderation? I drank to get drunk. Shitfaced. Hammered. I never wanted to drink in moderation.
