McDonald's could get it started by accepting purchases made with drones. They would see a drone with money strapped on it with a paper clip and a piece of paper with the order.

Too really get it going, someone should just try it. A drone inside a McDonald's might seem strange at first but then it would catch on.

Who pilots the drone?

The best part about having drones that you could buy with, is that it doesn't take much effort from the stores themselves to be drone accessible. They at the very worst, in addition to putting the order on the drone, only have to accept money and change a battery for a extra price. I'm not exactly sure how much the maximum load would be.
