I'm just saying that if you don't actually live there, it's a little hard to judge the political winds. I know Trump has some very real feelings about immigrants, but Canada and Mexico didn't launch a six days war to suddenly take over over large portions of the US. You're sitting in Florida, maybe you're watching FOXNews actually worried that Mexico is going to invade at any moment followed by shock troop from Puerto Rico supported by a caravan from Guatemala or something. I'm sorry to break it to you, that's not actually reality. It's just people making television to get ratings.

Israel is a country that has been on military alert since the late 1940s. They've been the subject of numerous invasions and military actions. They don't don't fuck around. It's not even remotely the same thing you see watching TV while stoned in the heart of US territory.

I agree, it is a bit much. I think that countries that want opened or closed borders should have them.
I also think that it's a good idea to screen immigrants and work with their host countries so as not to allow in criminals. But feeling this way is now seen as being incredibly facist.

No, I think it's fine to comment. I just don't think it's fine to pretend we don't know the history personally experienced by these people. Or to compare it to the history of other countries. I lived and worked in Israel for 6 months. Could even become a Citizen of Israel and I believe Fake Anon can as well. I am doing some end of the month billing so I need to make this quick. If Palestine were to decide to be at peace with Israel - There are enough jobs for the men and women and good paying jobs at that. Currently Israel has to import people from the Eu in order to fill the positions. Palestine has made itself dependent on Israel for water and power. Not smart of them but that is their choice.

The very sad thing is when I lived there the very best food is in Palestine and frankly food of Israel is BORING - So yes I spent time in Palestine when I was last there, crossing the border was more easy because it was a weeee bit more peaceful. Actually the very best food is from the Druze who are smart very smart to keep the peace and they do that and remain Muslims but a unique branch of that religion.
