Real doctors do not get kinks out. If you go to a real doctor with a back pain, you walk out with a script for pain meds. Chiropractors - Walk in with pain and walk out with less pain.

Scientific studies have shown that chiropractic is 99% ineffective, though there is one thing it marginally helps, forget which thing

Excerpt
Starting in the 1990s, a growing body of clinical research has offered support for the application of manual therapy for various musculoskeletal conditions, particularly low back pain. Consequently, manipulation has been included as an effective care option in a number of national and international guidelines on low back pain.6,7 Additional research in related fields such as orthopedic assessment of the spine and extremities, exercise therapy, and biomechanics of the adult spine has also affected the profession. As outcomes research has steadily increased, it has become more common for individual chiropractors to use evidence-based outcome measures such as validated questionnaires to measure activity limitations. In a cross-discipline study, chiropractors (along with physical therapists) were more likely than general medical practitioners to use Roland Morris or Oswestry Disability Questionnaires in assessing low back pain.8

AAAAAHHHHAHAHAHA!
Seriously? I suppose Yoga providers are medical practitioners now right because doctors think stretching and exercise are useful? The sheer number of times chiropractic "medicine" (no really look it up, it's like acupuncture or some shit, they think your hurt flows from your chi or feng shui or some bullshit they can't demonstrate.) has made an "oopsie" and killed a child or something because some fuck who didn't know medicine was trying to hit a kid's back until it cracked is fucking scary. Don't go to these people for medicine. They are shit salespeople with printed credentials that they probably earned online. If you die, I'm going to laugh at how fucking stupid you were, and so is history.

Lots of MD's will give you opiates and you end up hooked up for life or sometimes death from overdose.

And lots of mechanics will give you shitty replacement parts. I guess we should just pray for our cars to come back together, right? Seems like the sane alternative? Maybe just not do any research and hope that the person crowing the loudest might really fix the problem?

@previous (F) > I guess we should just pray for our cars to come back together, right?
Yea good luck with that. Jesus discovered his prayers were shit as he hung on the cross. People get duped into belief they can pray to Jesus to win the lottery.
Yoga is useful and they say it triggers chemicals good for the brain. I do not have the patience for it. Doctors know stretching and exercise are good for you, yet they pick up no knowledge of that in medical school. Sports teams employ chiropractors. Physical therapy works and that is another reason sports teams employ them. Feng shui, is supposed to make people feel better about their surroundings and it's maybe the oriental stuff, modern interior designers do currently.

No really, we should just fuck off back to prayers and hopes when actual medicine can't magically heal us like in a movie montage. It's been proven, by montages in movies and stuff. I think you're on to something.

The science behind chiro is bogus but there is no way around the fact that cracking or popping joints provides the patient with greater range of motion and feels pleasurable to the patient. There are positive demonstrable results from adjusting ones neck or back and comparing someone’s range of motion before and after the adjustment.
