Honestly, I can't. I know he talks a big game about riding between the cars, but I can't picture him ever doing that either. Why wouldn't he just march down like he owns a whole trolley or some shit? That seems more his style. I think it's something he saw in a movie and wants to pretend like he did. :/
Kind of like I was in a Karate school as a kid and won the all-valley tournament. You know, it's something you tell your blushing trophy wife so that she can smile at you after your girlfriend Allie dumps you and moves on.

But I could actually picture several politicians from New York actually riding the NY subway. I could never picture lil' Donnie doing anything but stepping out of a limousine on the edge of a crowded intersection to the outraged cries of the masses he was holding up.

I can picture him riding a subway though. A passanger will be looking for a seat when he sees him:
