Have you given Doc Martin's a go? I'm not hugely familiar with their sizing, but they may have the size/shape you need.
Also, blame your wife for me getting TOMS.

Their sturdier shoes weigh a lot, which is less than ideal. I’ve had some of their more streamlined shoes that I liked, but the durability of the leather finish and sole construction was a bit lacking.
Earth Shoes has had some styles that I liked (classy but not formal oxfords) and found to be wonderfully durable, but they took their designs in a shitty direction.
