One time when I work retail someone tied up their dog to a lamppost and left in direct sunlight and it was super dehydrated and overheated, it was just laying still on the floor looking super weak so I gave it a bowl of water, he weakly lapped them up and needed four water bowls overall before he stopped, there was a crowd of people around by the time that the owner came out of the betting shop to move his dog into the shade.

My boss got all mad that I was doing it and tried to reprimand me
