How will you be celebrating the coming Easter weekend? Do you have a sermon prepared for your congregation? Do you see any divine message in Notre Dame burning down just before the annual remembrance of the death of Christ?

I'm not Father Merrin but I'll be celebrating Easter by knowing this could be the last Easter whites in America celebrate it as a majority!

Why would you be celebrating Easter and not Pesach?

@OP

> How will you be celebrating the coming Easter weekend?

Professionally it's obviously a very busy week for me so I'm more than usually swamped with clerical duties, but to answer your questions...

> Do you have a sermon prepared for your congregation?

Holy Week tends to follow a fairly 'set program' in the Catholic Church (I've found 'sermons' to be more a Protestant tradition, at least as regards Christ's Passion and Resurrection). But yes, I do have my comments and my scriptural passages prepared for tomorrow (Good Friday) and Easter Sunday.

> Do you see any divine message in Notre Dame burning down just before the annual remembrance of the death of Christ?

I've been praying on this a lot and I think that yes, there probably is a message there. However God has not yet revealed to me what it is (I know that He will if I continue searching and praying). It is obviously profoundly significant that God spared those relics pertaining to Christ yet destroyed a lot of the things built by mankind. I also cannot shake from my mind's eye that miraculous image of the sunlight shining upon the untouched golden cross among the ruins. I feel there is a divine message there also. But as I said I am still some way from revelation and I have much more praying to do.

Bless you for your questions friend!

Since God is infallible, and since that necessarily includes literacy, I would presume this to be a trick of Satan. Bless you child.
