Macron ordered the burning of the church roof and steeple knowing that it would be seen as a national tragedy. He ordered the steeple and roof burnt, but the main facade and belltower saved. A posed photograph of an unburnt crucifix and a speech with all the right words, and Macron was able to pivot on his popularity. In reality, he is very unpopular and Paris is gripped with civil unrest. Now he gets to be the big hero saving the cathedral and advance his political agenda. How convenient!

It's a double triple triple no-backies false flag. Obviously the fire-breathing Jews swindled the Hollow Earth Nazis out of the money that was embezzled through Putin and Trump to repair the cathedral in order to promote the Christian religion. The Reptilian aliens saw this as a threat, so they faked the whole thing on live TV. Obviously, Macron couldn't admit that the lying media could show pictures of Notre Dame not on fire, so he was forced to torch it in order to keep up the deepstate media empire. Once the money fell through because Manafort's assets were seized, Trump and Macron had no choice but to torch the building and try to blame some workers smoking on the job.
