God's mercy is said to be freely given. It means that when it is given, it's not because you deserve it or you will earn it, it's no strings attached. I don't know where I'm going with this except that I believe that even the worst of afflictions and suffering can go away in a instance no matter who you are or were. I think such a thing sounds like this and I wonder if you would share what it sounds to you?
