There are hundreds of thousands of individual written documents, photographs, and eyewitness testimonies from people who were involved in the Holocaust that corroborate the events that took place during World War 2. The lasting effect of the Holocaust can also be seen statistically and culturally, in the millions of civilians whose deaths cannot otherwise be accounted for after the war.

Anything that displays (or redirects to) something grossly offensive, gorey, or generally NSFW/NSFL, without the user expecting. If it's Lemonparty or whatever we'll leave it, maybe adding "NSFW" or something, because everybody knows what to expect. But harmless-website.com which really features gore videos will be deleted, and anybody continuing to spam it banned.
Luckily most of our really shitty users have fucked off. Even the "trolls" we're left with are pretty much harmless.

In private or publicly? It wasn't a mod in the Trip thread. Like I said, we've never allowed actual doxxing. We quite happily remove personal information that hasn't been willingly shared. We also remove poster's old posts on request, e.g. if they contain personal info (typically it's an email address but sometimes a name or photo).
Not everybody who has the mod link is an actual mod, FYI. Mods/admins post under their name when using the mod link!

And to be clear: the OP was modified because it linked to a gore website. It seemed more transparent to modify it humorously than simply remove the thread from view.
We've never allowed extreme NSFL content, as I said above. There's no rule about Holocaust denial here, but even if there were, Minichan isn't a free speech platform, never has been, and never will be. Sim made this abundantly clear in 2010 when we first had this "debate".
I do broadly agree with you, nevertheless. You can post pretty much anything here, but everywhere has limits -- and these are ours.

Nothing "extreme", and otherwise always clearly marked NSFL. In our early years, and especially in our PRQ days, we entertained allowing more questionable content, and it wasn't very popular.
Certain domains have always been disallowed, too. Still, the only ban we've ever levied (IIRC) was the user who would spam beheading GIFs.

You're welcome to find and report the former, because I certainly don't recall it but will happily remove it. The latter was a Liveleak video clearly marked NSFL, and hardly in the category I'm talking of; it was only last week I removed a link to a site prominently featuring a child beheading video.

The link led to a list of hundreds of comments about some woman who had made a lot of presentations live and in public discussing her views about The holocaust..
There were no pics of 'gore'...just the described text..
