Rich means bills paid and quality cars and places to live. Poor means bills and less than desirable places to live.

Better places to live like California where a house that costs 650,000 only costs 100,000 in forty other states states...because Cali keeps up millions of illegals..

California Governor Offers $144B Budget, Sees Big Surplus. ... California Gov. Gavin Newsom proposed a $144 billion general fund budget on Thursday that's up 4 percent from the current year and predicted a $21.4 billion surplus from robust tax collections and slower growth of state health care costs.Jan 10, 2019
And all that with illegals. Illegals do pay state, local and US taxes.
Its 2017 Gross State Product was $2.747 trillion, surpassing the United Kingdom's $2.625 trillion Gross Domestic Product. The new ranking marks the highest point for California's relative GSP since 2002. The state had slipped to the 10th-largest world economy in 2012, when its GSP was just $2.003 trillion.May 4, 2018
Also in general $650,000 in most areas of the state will only buy something equal to those Sears Craftsman 3 bedroom one bathroom starter houses. Just average kind of starter house.

on a tangent, I don't like how cheaper things are called "starter", as if someone needs practice with something shitty before they get the good one. So they sell "starter" computers, cameras, and so on, but it just means that they suck. same deal with the phrase "consumer grade".
