For when you don't want to talk to someone but it would be rude to hang up or not take the call.

When the call starts "breaking up" you can hang up and claim the call dropped and blame Sprint.

Sorry! What?! I can't hear you! You're breaking up! Hello?! ?????

I heard a long time ago about some bar that had some kind of set up on their payphone where when calling home or whatever that you could add sound various effects to make it sound like you were at a bowling ally... ball game etc..

Pretty cool idea..
