Weird. The smell of cats is supposed to drive away rodents. I once moved into an apartment that had 2 mice living there already. I got a cat, she either scared away or murdered them both, never had any more mice come in.

This whole complex is full of rodents. My building actually has the fewest compared to any others, and the loft is so big i guess they know they can hide from catto? Catto isnt a big hunter, either, but doggo is. But theyre both gonna be recovering for a while...just hope the rodents don't fuck with sweet lil cat while he's healing, the poor thing almost died

What happened to your animals?
Also, that sucks. My complex has a similar problem, but with cockroaches. They have exterminators come in, but I still have to buy insecticide and spray for myself.

My dog just got spayed
my cat got out and idk what happened, i think he managed to get stuck in a car engine that got turned on while he was in it. All i know is he was injured so bad the vet wasnt sure he would make it, he got stitches and is still on an iv three days later

Doesnt look like an animal attack tho, no bite or scratch marks, it really looks mechanical. The vet said he usually sees this in cats who get out and get stuck in motors. :(

He's coming back home today! Three days on IV at the vet, stitches also. He's walking and eating and purrs every time they check on him :> still has a problem with his back leg so i got him a little tent and a scratchy thing for him to play with without walking
