I have been in a lot of violent situations, I would like to train in some self defense system. I can give examples of specific scenarios I would like to train for (based on past experience). One example, I was with two friends in my car. We needed to meet someone so I parked up outside a shop in an estate. We got out of the car and waited. A group of around 10 passed us as we were waiting. Then my friend sees his cousin in the distance and calls him over. His cousin came over with a friend and explained that the group had just punched him in the face and kicked him while he was laying on the floor. We talk to them for a few seconds and then the group reappears. There were around 10 of them with baseball bats, wooden/metal poles. So there was 5 of us, and around 10 of them, plus they're tooled up. I want to train against attacks with blunt objects.
I have been in numerous physical confrontations in which violence was the only option. Threatened with knives, attacked by multiple people for no reason. Anyway I am currently working out with free weights 3 times a week, taking boxing classes, training (shadow boxing, bag work) for an hour every day. What more can I do? (I have fortified my home, own an aggressive dog, all that.)
I have been researching body armor (to protect my chest, legs, etc), but there just isn't anything appropriate on the market (despite what you might think). I am zero percent interested in Krav Maga, because I'm boycotting Israel.

Dude. Forget the movies, if someone comes at you with a bat or similar, fucking run like hell.
You should avoid physical confrontations. You can get serious brain damage from one hit. You will get knocked out and then people will curb stomp you.
Violence is stupid. If you want to protect yourself, get a gun.
Also, if more than one person attacks you, run. It's not like in movies where people politely wait for you to finish your current opponent. One will hold you, while the other kicks your ass.
Look at some fights on YouTube. It's not like in the movies.
The best self defense is to avoid thode situations.

After YEARS of gruelling training and being forced to follow your master around.
Not to mention that anything beyond moving a Lightsaber seems to be reserved for prodigies or absolute masters
Since the ratio of Force users is incredibly low (a few thousand Jedi in an entire GALAXY?) you're expected to fulfill your duties, rather than wander about.
Just train with a headhunter and be done with it.

Well it *does* have remote sensing and superhuman reflexes.

The One Power has fewer prerequisites for using it, comes with very strong defenses, ranged attacks that would inflict serious butthurt upon the imperial troops and a variety of civilian uses, thus it would be my Number One.

Guns are illegal. If I'm caught with a handgun I'm guaranteed 5 years in prison minimum (that's if I don't use it). I think you misunderstand. There are some people that you just don't swing a bat at. That day when we (almost) got severely fucked over, I am fortunately quite tall and heavily built. The leader of that gang was intimidated by me (seeing as I had about a foot and 100 pounds on him). None of the people holding bats said anything, one came over (with a bat) and stood face to face with my friend (their faces were touching). He says "I just got punched in the face for no reason," and the one with the bat is just loudly saying "AND WHAT? AND WHAT?" over and over. After a while of this he backed off and joined his friends with the bats. So I am describing the one which appeared to initiate it "the leader". He steps back, points his bat at me and says "'Wiv your big mates, ya fucking cunt". My mate (not easily intimated) talks to him, as soon as they backed off a little bit more we got everyone in the car and got the fuck out of there. My friend's cousin was very grateful and said "I would have got killed without this car and you lot". This was quite a serious incident. Welcome to London.

I defended myself like a cheap dirty whore few times already, dodged serious trouble endless times.
No matter if you fight a group of school bullies in the hallways, or a group of skinhead on the streets, go for the leader. It's funny how the rest will fall back and run away once you beat the shit out of the "alpha male".
Second, fight dirty. You won't get extra points for a clean fight. I'd rather have a smart, short and easy knock out, than a long hard fight.
Also, if it's just a fight and not a roberry or something, always keep your cool, threaten back, be aggressive and always yell. Even be the first to attack if you're sure this will end up with a fight.
Last what I have to say, I got out of what should have been "3 dudes are robbing you" situation.
I was like "Oh snap, don't hurt me please, take everything..." and put everything on the ground in front of me. Alpha male steps in front, waves with a knife like a bad ass motherfucker, saying "We'll take your stuff, and then we'll beat you up".
He bends down to pick up my phone and wallet, but ends up eating my Vans of the Wall :D
I managed to grab another one and knock him out. Tied them together with their shoe laces, took their IDs and called the police in. What a great day that was :'D

For random trouble on public places always a good idea... been there done it, just no hesitation, once you start going don't stop, one sign of fear and you'll get beaten up.
