So I went by the package store yesterday and I thought...hmmm let's change things up today..
I decided to get a pint of 100 proof Smirnoff instead of my regular favorite..
I should have realized that was only two cocktails and it even cost more..
If you're not going to be drinking fresh home-brewn mead from the horn of an ox I don't even want to know

They come in those cool hip flask bottles you can easily fit into a pocket!
Also, I've bought pints before because I knew I wouldn't stop drinking until the alcohol was gone. I was counting on my own drunken lethargy to be a form of self-control later.

When I only have 80 proof I will often just chug the pint in one long swallow..

If I buy handles of 190 I'd wind up in prison..

One long chug, yeah. Do it on an empty stomach too. It's always best to take your liver by surprise like that. Slow sipping cocktails is just telegraphing your moves.

UK and US pints are different amounts of ounces, which by the way, aren't even the same ounces as each other
you see, the US measures derive from older UK measures and with the war and separation, the US did not change over when the UK did. The US gallon is what the UK wine-specific gallons were.
