I think most people appreciate some kind of system, in one way or another. Unrest and criminally is guaranteed for any system, it's just something society has to deal with. A system's better than anarchy, though.

Capitalism is not an extension of communism, In a truly communist society you do not choose your job. Secondly things only exist and are manufactured if the governing body deems they should be or even acknowledges their existence, there are so many small intricate parts that must be manufactured and assigned to people in a true communist society to build things like cars. There is no motive for progression, and the leisure and entertainment industry is whatever the governing body deems it to be. Comparing what you have from a Capitalist society to a Communist society is not the case, the whole motivation and mindset of the individual changes as they work towards different goals.

No I am not 100% independent, but I do have independence. Society can not function completely independently. Your basement can only protect you so long without laws and law enforcement and organized military. Apart from that I work where I want, eat what I want, socialise with who I want, do what I want (within reason) and that is independence to me. I would any day sacrifice not being able to do certain niche things such as theft or murder, to gain the benefits of society.

I'm not arguing against YOU. Don't take things so personally. A person's argument is separate from their person. The problem is that people take rejection of their argument as rejection of themselves.
There is no transition period to libertarianism. There is no utopian goal. Libertarianism supports using democracy to return power to the people. The state currently does not have the power to directly resist libertarianism. When it is given more power (such as under communism) it can directly resist liberty, and nonviolent civil disobedience may be called for.
