Externally hosted imageThe answer is normally yes. The reporter then presents a real refugee and asks if they will take them home.

Cool idea IF a refugee can cook clean and meet bedroom needs. Of course this must be mutually agreeable.

@OP

To tell the truth, I think most people would hesitate to take a complete stranger into their homes, regardless of whether they're refugees or not.

To learn what?? That people don't say what they really think sometimes?

You could probably find any number of things that people would agree to in principle that they would say no to if you sprung it on them suddenly. You could walk around doing the same thing with puppies or asking people to make donations and get the same response.

No one wants to slobber syntaxs knob and change his diaper in exchange for a place to stay

Don't try to shame people because you are upset with Syntax

I dunno, I'm kind of with anon C on this one. That was a dodgy comment. Either allow refugees into your home or not but don't expect sexual favours in payment.

What about cooking and cleaning?

Yeah that should come as standard. Not to the level they do all of the chores but at least an even share. If one decided to take a genuine refugee it's kind of a responsibility to make them feel human.
