Economics aren't a threat, just a fact.

Whom would have known that leaving one of the world's largest economic unions in a blind rage would be a bad idea.

Fuck you. Stupid shit, you'd stab our country in the back out of stupidly and malice. You fuckwits will never understand this because you'll just pin it all on the liberal gloabalist media.

I hope Brexit hurts you too. You cunt.

Your own government cannot agree on what it should do because the voters (yourself included) gave it a turd and said "make us a meal". So they stuck 2 slices of bread around it and now everyone is shocked that they're being served a turd sandwich. I genuinely don't understand where you're coming from or what you were expecting to happen.

The good thing about leaving the EU is you'll have less of an economy to worry about. Also you'll be a lot less relevant generally so people will forget you exist and you can focus on things that actually matter like kicking the dirty foreigners out or whatever.

Oh what ever. We keep hearing the sky is falling in but we're still a large economy and will still play a big part. We British have punched above our weight throughout history and I don't believe that's going to change anytime soon.

Should also point out we have the lowest unemployment since the 70s and in January our economy grew 0.5% while Germany just missed recession.

No, our government have actively been working against the referendum result. Most of Parliament is pro-EU. Our Prime Minister is a remainer, she never intended to get a good deal out of the EU because she was negotiating from a position of weakness. If we had somebody like David Davis in charge, we may have got a better deal. Even if we hadn't, WTO wouldn't be too bad at all.
@977,582 (Fake anon !ZkUt8arUCU)
Our economy will be fine, although it may take a hit (that will probably last a few months). The government should have been planning FTAs with other countries the past 3 years, or given that duty to businesses. All they've been doing is try their hardest to delay and make a mess of the whole thing.

.5% is just missing recession also.

The UK has overachieved but never by retreating from the world. Idk what the theory is beyond hand-waiving and saying "we've always been fine so we'll always be fine.". That argument is always true right up until the point where it isn't. This feels like that point to me.

Ok so in other words you set in motion a project doomed to failure and the deadline for making the decision is approaching and no one knows what they're doing.

Imagine if you had just voted remain and you could have spent the last 3 years doing literally anything else to directly improve your country.

The opportunity cost is staggering.

Green !!U1oPlerJJ replied with this 7 years ago, 5 minutes later, 1 hour after the original post[^] [v] #977,596

@previous (Fake anon !ZkUt8arUCU)
It wouldn't have been doomed to failure had we actually had a competent government. Instead we have got one of the worst Prime Ministers in the history of the country. Instead of planning for Brexit, the government have spent the past 3 years planning to subvert Brexit and delay it. Theresa May's mantra of "Brexit means Brexit" and "no deal is better than a bad deal" were just like everything that comes out of her duplicitous mouth: lies. She had no intention of getting a good deal for the country.

Thick cunt. It's almost like you retards hate the UK with how eagerly you talk about crippling it's economy. You'd have to be a complete moron to want no deal whatsoever.

@977,588 (A)
You stupid, stupid cunt. The evidence is right in front of you. Companies are leaving. The Brexit bus was a complete lie because it didn't mention our rebates. The government is so incompetent that they still have no plan to deal with the logistics of no deal.

It's all right there. But you're too fucking thick to admit it. It all bounces right off. Because you think everything will be okay if England strikes out for itself. You can't grasp anything more complicated than England good!

He doesn't fucking know. All knows is that the Daily Mail said the EU was evil and we would be okay if we left it without a deal. That is as far as the thinking goes.

You can't see the sky falling because your head's in the sand. You just ignore everything. And when it finally does become undoubtable that we're fucked, you'll just blame liberal sabotage or something anyway. You fuckwit.

Anonymous H joined in and replied with this 7 years ago, 3 minutes later, 2 hours after the original post[^] [v] #977,615

UK voted to Brexit. They did not vote for any kind of a deal. So let them just Brexit without any deal and UK can figure it out for themselves.
