Topic: The Internet troll society that we're in now rewards nihilism

Anonymous A started this discussion 7 years ago #85,103

The troll culture destroys those who show passion, feeling, emotion.

It is a s**tty way to live.

It doesn't matter. Nothing matters.

@previous (Nihilist Ned !faggot)

It doesn't matter that nothing matters, might as well think it matters. Not that it matters.

No. I think it just rewards being childish.

It takes some kind of broken mind and naive dedication to continuously post the same stupid memes and make the same threads day after day. It's less the actions of a nihilist and more the mindset of that kid who wants attention but can only scream insults and break things to get it. Even stupid people can have opinions and emotions because it's easy. Maybe if you keep shouting things at people you can make it look like you're having the kind of real conversation that mature, thoughtful people have.

I don't think a nihilist would even care enough to have an opinion let alone elicit a response from anyone else.
