lol jk. tbh the first time I did psychedelics I couldn't even handle music. i watched a movie kind of while I was coming up but by the time I was really tripping the DVD was back to the title screen and jesus' benevolent face was contorting and watching over me the whole time and every time I looked up I was like 'omg Jesus is still there'. but yeah I just felt like music would be overwhelming! i was in 4d

Oh good. At least you'll have someone there. Mood and setting is pretty key with hallucinogens. Just relax and enjoy it and you'll be fine. I've always thought the potential for danger is that you can't turn it off. A lot of other drugs you can kind of close your eyes and pass out if you get too fucked up. Powerful hallucinogens sometimes don't give you that option. You have to ride it out and just fucking enjoy dealing with it. It can be fun when you're happy, but it can turn into a paranoid hellscape pretty fast. Sometimes that's fun too though.

I'm no expert or anything, the few times though? I always ended up in some kind of horror show, like I was looking inwards and saw only the worst of myself. I think it's because I made bad choices, like not cleaning everything up 100% before I took it.
Don't rush the setting, really think about it before hand.
