Weird replacement if the reason for this change is to be politically correct. Since that could be seen as sexism.

someone should start a hoax about how people are trying to stop computer people from referring to some computer part as a "retard socket" or something like that (the joke is that there is no such thing -- it would remind people of the IDE drives that had master and slave settings)
