I could never beat it. Got stuck on the boss level where you have to beat the cardboard k rool by swimming to a cannon and shooting yourself at it

That's actually quite common, except people get stuck on world 3. That battle can be kind of a bitch, since any kong can be lost with one bad shot. I'll never understand why DK64 is so much harder than other Rareware titles from the same time.

Perfect Dark was pretty hard too though, even harder than dk64.
