It's just like slavery in the early South in the U.S.
People just get off on citing exaggerated claims about unfortunate circumstances that happened at one point where they can claim they have some vague connection to the folks that actually experienced said event.
ie; Black person in 2019 whing about slavery in the early 1800's or
Jewish people talking about the so called holocaust almost a century ago.
They want you to realize they are victims and deserve special consideration and attention.

I mean I have argued the plaque thing before with one of our charming alt right antisemites like @OP before and I don't want to relitigate it but it was a plaque at Auschwitz installed by the Soviets that inflated the number of Jews killed at that particular camp for anti-german propaganda purposes. It initially stated 4 million (I think) and was revised down to 1 million if I remember correctly.
I am happy to discuss things but when you are just reiterating untruthful antisemitic political talking points generated by people who think I am subhuman scum unwelcome in their country it's not generally enjoyable on my end.

It doesn't "trigger" me, I just think it's burdensome to always be the one having to prove that actually yes, about 6 million Jews were killed. Especially when the doubt isn't real, it's manufactured to push a political agenda and is always argued in bad faith or from ignorance.
I engage with it because it's important to fight misinformation, particularly the kind of misinformation designed to deny genocide.
Here is the plaque as of today. For what it's worth, image searching "Auschwitz plaque 4 million" gives you sites like "loveyourrace", stormfront and a site about "Holocaust deprogramming". This garbage "evidence" is propagated by literal neo Nazis. Which is bad, just for the record. Please don't read and believe neo Nazi propaganda, as a personal favor to me. Thanks.

For Jews and Poles, Auschwitz has long been a source of antagonism, with each claiming it as a symbol of their own suffering under the Nazis during the war. More than three million non-Jewish Poles died during the war from starvation, disease, exhaustion or in Nazi death camps. More than six million Jews died.
Auschwitz is one of the few camps that remains intact. At the war's end, the Nazis, sensing their defeat, destroyed much of the evidence of their death camps. The barracks at Auschwitz, however, reveal the ghastly details of life and death there.
The preserved camp at Auschwitz, designed as a museum under the former Communist governments, emphasizes Nazi atrocities toward Soviet citizens during the war. One barracks displays rows and rows of framed photos of Poles who died there. Jews, gypsies and homosexuals - all slated for genocide - are represented as secondary victims.
Only one barracks near the exit honors the Jewish dead. Financed by several Jewish organizations, it includes photographs, identification cards and other memorabilia donated by survivors and others in a stark, dimly lit hall.

Why are you conceding that Jews were the main victims but also taking issue with the sign that says the victims were "mainly Jews"?
Also the part I quoted explained why they changed it. Under Soviet rule, the park dramatically played down the suffering of the Jews in order to gain support fron the Polish. Once the commies lost power it was finally possible to undo that second indignity.

It's always bugged me that Nazi death camps had hospitals. At what point did the Nazis decide that they could only kill fit and healthy Jews?
The gas chambers seem really expensive and inefficient for killing people too. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it didn't happen, but the Germans aren't exactly know for their inefficiency. I would imagine a German gas chamber would be perfectly sealed and be dispensing and then reclaiming as much gas as possible, before purging with breathable air so the bodies could be removed. Pictures of the gas chambers just look like some average room, and not really an efficient killing room with easy body removal.
If they weren't reclaiming the gas then they must have been producing it themselves on site I guess. Otherwise the trains full of Jews would need to be full of death gas as well, and the trains leaving would have to be full of dead Jews. I've never heard of any mass graves of Holocaust victims being excavated, but I'd imagine they are all pretty close to train tracks.
Moving the dead bodies would have to be either mechanized or carried out by other Jews. No way a Nazi guard is going to sling around dead bodies all day if he could just point his gun and get it done. Burning the dead bodies could be done as well but it uses a lot of fuel, and the bodies have to be burnt completely otherwise partially burnt bodies would still need to be buried. I'm not so sure cost of the fuel could really be justified if you can make people dig their own graves.
6 million is a lot of Jews to exterminate, and the whole process would need to be well planned and efficient from the logistics of collecting Jews and death gas on route to the camp, to the removal, unloading and burying of the bodies.
So, yeah. Why would the death camps have hospitals? That part bugs me.
