No-one in Scotland pays tuition fees, yet in England we pay the same amount of taxes, but are lumbered with insane amounts of debt after leaving university. Why is the system like this when it is so blatantly unfair? I hate Scotland.
I would rather not have upwards of £30K (~$50K) worth of debt given the choice.

I believe it's free in Scotland if you're an EU citizen, definitely not free for Americans. It's hard to get citizenship, you would need to acquire a student visa and dig deep like the rest of us.

Oh, is that because Glasgow has more murders than any city in the UK? Or because there is three times more serious assaults, robbery and violent crimes than the UK average? Or is it because Glasgow has the highest unemployment than any city in the UK? Just curious.

Marrying someone doesn't guarantee citizenship, you will have to do all sorts of things to prove that it isn't a sham marriage. You will need all the luck you can get.
