I heard good things from their trackpad, but are the computers themselves really that good?
Right now, this Chromebook has a nice operating system and does everything I need a laptop for. I mostly installed Ubuntu for Minecraft and LibreOffice.
But I honestly sometimes think about what it would be like to have a Macbook every time I see a student with one thinking that they just put themselves into debt purchasing a device they could have gotten for cheaper.

Catherine you need to remember your priorities. Make up and high heels. Gowns to attend grand events. Victoria Secretes garments & Bikinis are costly. French colognes.

lol, the confusing part to me is that this one, with the Balenciaga jibbitz charms, costs like two hundred more than the same shoe without the charms

@OP
I think a few years ago yes but they seem to be sacrificing form for function. The butterfly keyboard that can be killed by a single speck of dust is just appalling. If that happened to a $200 laptop I would think it was garbage. On a $1000+ laptop? Totally unacceptable. The MacBook is more like a designer fashion accessory now, imo.
OS X certainly had a lot of advantages, especially in the Windows XP days but Windows has gotten better to the point where I think the security advantages of OS X are not really significant anymore. OS X is easier to use... if you're used to OS X. It's not really "more intuitive" or easier or anything than any other OS.
With everything moving to the web/cloud it really doesn't matter what OS you run any more. Even what browser you use doesn't really matter anymore because except for Firefox they're all based on Chromium now (even Microsoft Edge is switching soon). The user interfaces have all converged too, to the point where I can barely tell them apart anymore. They all look and work pretty much the same now.

They say that the soft toes don't protect you from injure. Also they can be worn without backs I think, and they don't allow backless shoes

the soft toe thing is ridiculous unless they make you wear steel toes. croc stuff is tougher than most canvas or vinyl sneakers. it kinda bounces stuff off
also they make tons of shoes with backs. they make like nurse shoes and stuff

I agree. It seems as though they have a lot of arbitrary rules
