Topic: Wrestling is losing it's psychology and it's really effecting the overall product.

Here's the importance of match psychology. Psychology is what made wrestling give off the illusion of a sport. Psychology is what made the matches actually make sense. It's what made it look like an actual fight. With this disappearing, I don't know what wrestling is going to become. Just an endless series of superkick parties (thanks, Dumb Fucks). I know the industry is exposed AF but that still shouldn't mean psychology takes a back seat. I mean, shit, wrestlers started telling backstages stories that may or may not be true as an attempt to preserve kayfabe. An attempt to make the product "real" again. I don't know why I keep watching Raw or SmackDown especially when it's no biggie if I miss a week. I suppose it's just out of habit.

wait no, smoking is harmful

I think that the wrestlers need to start roughing up the fans

How has it changed though? They still have fights and rivalries, right?

King of, though, it's more of a comedic show now. At least, WWE, but the indies have managed to break kayfabe and break psychology that WWE started to mirror it thinking that was what their audience wants to see. Instead, they get leprechauns and other crap.

The '00s weren't such a bad time for wrestling.

Oh I see what you mean. I'm surprised some other wrestling league hasn't moved in to fill the void.

So you'd like wrestling to be more serious, with more feuds and kayfabe, but not much comedy!

Comedy is alright. Even the ‘80s and ‘90s has that. Also, there is All Elite Wrestling that is currently speculated to give WWE some competition since its owned by the owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Interesting how a Football guy is trying to get into wrestling while Vince tries to get into Football.

It seems like they'd have a lot of overlap actually in terms of putting on a show, managing a team, managing media, etc.
