I used to post in detail ''Exactly in full detail including the hour I wood be at a music event - House of Blues or the many many many Street festivals - LA days and San Francisco days and now San Diego - One very well know Blues club just up the street but such a small dance floor so I only go there when friends demand -
So any North Park or what used to be many Little Italy Festivals AND AND the upcoming Cajun Festival of several days - I don't carry a gun - And on occasion but not often someone does come up to me and says hello - Two years ago someone I had never posted in Net with but is a Sysops for a Chan with deep connections going years back on MC and TC - He contacted me because he was coming to town and I think first contact was here on MC - He flew in and I picked him up and took him to dinner - Payed the bill - Had zero hesitations and it was a good evening and Not one single word was spoken about chans or for that matter anything net related. This was one of a number of dinners net related.
I do my very best to keep Net and Real Life separate. So if you do come up and say hello dooooon't waste my time about the silly stuff that goes on here cause hell I will buy you a beer and we can chat EXCEPT - If the Music is playing DOOOON'T even think about saying hello Until a Music break

Ouch it was NOT bad coffee - It was how can I say this politically correct - I think the gift was from a tea drinker who enjoyed light teas. Say Jasmine - Was a very nice gift and my friends that are NOT Espresso drinkers enjoyed it BUT those beans when ground for Espresso - It was shall we say - came out as if milk had been added like 3 to one and that is Milk to Coffee
No amount of added fresh grounds produced a Espresso quality

I travel miles to get the 3 types of beans I use in my daily brew. Three locations and it's really 4 when I can get a special bitter strong bean from Brazil and only add 10% of that to the mix
I wish I could have judged the Portland selection - I No he paid a lot for it - It's that way for beers and ales with me - Must be like one wants to use a fork because they are thick
Of course with Mexican food a good Mexican beer like Dos Equis Dark

Of course - What kind of host do you think I am - Not ever guest enjoys my Espresso - So of course pour over or French Press. If you look at that Syntax 70508 topic - That is from a Clone and I make that clear but of course fully endorse such efforts as all clones are not bad clones.
