Last night I jabbed some earwax inside my ear by accident. It's not fun, but I have this stuff called Debrox. You drip it in there with your head tilted sideways until your ear canal is full of it, and then you let it fizz and pop until the wax gets soft and it drains right out.
I did it about three times last night, maybe more, because the wax against my eardrum was still there. I went to bed with some in there for good measure. I wake up at 8am and it feelt like someone took a knife to my ear and it still hurts like a bitch. Constantly. Advil helps, but only so much.
I might go see the doctor today and check out what is wrong, and what we can do about it. My first hunch is that it simply removed ALL of the earwax outside of the area around my eardrum and my ear canal is freaking out.

Debrox contains carbamide peroxide that reacts to break up the wax in your ear. (You can get a similar fizzy effect from good old hydrogen peroxide too.) You probably irritated the sensitive tissue inside your ear by leaving it in for so long. You usually want to space out your uses of that stuff instead of dumping a bunch of it in there all at once. If you've been using it, it should have already softened up the wax, and it should start to come out on it's own. Hold off on that shit for a while and let it heal, will ya?

Sounds like you've got Swimmers Ear (slight infection caused by fluids). I got it a few years ago. Just tilt your head in a hot bath for a bit, should clear it.
