I was trying to be diplomatic with the use of Tall. How does one use a politically correct term for what Cathy did to her mom? Also over time Spectrum continues to release newer models because they are ramping up speeds to over 1GHZ and current models - that is the most up to date they have are only good to 900.
Now it is Just possible Cathy said to her Mom - Mom you need to spend $100 plus shipping cost but of course you don't really have to because Spectrum will give it to you for free and even install it and verify it's all it could be and Mom said to Cathy - Oh No my darling - I want to spend my money as fast as possible because otherwise we may spend the money on food that might not be as healthy as it could be

So Spectrum in fact was ALLOWED by the Household to come in and service the equipment.
Places a bet the van that did that work for Spectrum, had routers and other boxes in the van and for the asking could have installed a router or said be right back with one or will be back tomorrow and install OR just hand it to you.

Maybe it's doing one of those acting exercises where you play out a scene in slow motion? If you grab some packet crafting tools, then you can probably go through some short skits and Meisner exercises with it. A lot of internet connections are aspiring actors. Some warm-ups and rehearsals like these will help it build confidence and develop its technique.
