A great way to not drink soda, is to clean out the drain tube for a soda machine. After you see that in person, you may think twice about soda. I did for a while

No a better comparison would be not eating burgers because or the grease on the grill. The point is that there is so much sludge from just soda being poured through a plastic tube, let alone what happens when soda hits your stomach acid. I still drink soda, I just dont have any illusions on its healthiness.
