Great food does not need to be spicy. French Food for instance.
The only reason Chinese food is spicy is because those areas of China that turned their food spicy, did so my making their Food, Chinese American versions of Chinese food.

Just pointing out that albeit I love spicy food - Not everyone DOES - Becky is born n bread in Midwest - They are infamous for fail to eat much more than Meat n Potatoes. Black pepper in microscopic amounts is about as spicy as it gets.
