What I really enjoyed was how Trump said
Trump: 'If there is going to be peace and legislation, there cannot be war and investigation'
And Trump has No powers whatsoever to stop congress from investigating him or anyone else.

Some friends and I were going to go out to a bar and watch the SotU so we could yell out callbacks and generally roast Trump MST3K style in real time. We were expecting him to really double down on the wall shit and and start sounding like his Twitter feed. Instead, he delivered a pretty tame speech that even made a few nods toward bipartisanship. It wasn't great, but it wasn't horrible. I think he's learning. Someone there remarked that Trump sounded like Clinton did after the impeachment stuff was staring him in the face.

@previous (D)
Even fake news is giving Trump a 75% approval for his speech. No wonder Nancy didn't want this, and looked uncomfortable reading the same piece of paper 50 times while waving down Northams Nasties in the white robes.
