Topic: Is being "transgender" the new way of getting discharged from military service?

Sure, people who are transgender cannot serve in the military anymore, but what about currently enlisted soldiers who are questioning their gender identity but remain in the closet for a variety of reasons. What happens if they decide to seek out mental health help and eventually decides to undergo gender reassignment? Is that a discharge from the military? That means anyone who regrets their decision to sign up for the military now has an excuse to get discharged.
