Topic: I'm eating a Gala apple right now.

They are sweet and they do have a hint of vanilla.

Though I almost thought they were Macintosh apples.

I'm now not sure what apples Panera serves in their meals.

I am eating them cut up.

Gala is a clonally propagated apple cultivar with a mild and sweet flavor. In 2018, it surpassed Red Delicious as the apple cultivar with the highest production in the United States, according to the US Apple Association. It was the first time in over 50 years that any cultivar was produced more than Red Delicious. Wikipedia
Scientific name: Malus domestica 'Gala'
Higher classification: Paradise apple
Rank: Cultivar
Origin: New Zealand, 1930s

OP
Remember that according to the Bible - The Apple that Eve took a bite out of, resulted in massive amounts of incest.

I think they were Royal Galas actually. At least, that is what it said on the information posted at Wal-Mart.

Are those sweet?

It's sweet with a sour hint too, not sweet like a Fuji or one of the Rose varieties. Early season Braeburn are closer to Granny Smith.

I'm surrounded by apple orchards btw, I hardly eat them anymore I think I've had my fill or something
